Internal Bleeding or wing sauce?

about a year ago I had MASSIVE internal bleeding originating in my SB........flooding out dark red toilet bowls worth of blood. Fun, right?

So...yesterday I noticed very liquid red rust-to-dark blood in the bowl. This morning too.
Now.........because I dont want to be bleeding, I am trying to convince myself that it could be the hot wing sauce I have eaten the last two days.........
Can we be fooled by the things we eat? Is it possible that the digested sauce retained all that red color? Am I ok to doubt here? I dont want to jump to "blood" for sure.

Bummer, I was hoping it was the wing sause. In the future you might want to think about getting an occult blood test paper just to have at home.

If it was "red sauce" thats alot of wings!... and I'd be jealous you could eat that many!

I have often wondered this myself too. Easy mistake to make. Feel better

I've never had a problem with bleeding but freaked myself out the first time I had Twizzlers (red licorice). All that red dye went straight thru and came out the other end.

I was hoping for the wing sauce also, sorry you didn't get off that easy.

well.....its all dark reds blood clots now.....dont know what to do about that........guess Ill take the wait and see approach. Called my GI just to let them know.....after that, I got no idea about what to do.

I am wondering if going with a liquid diet for a couple days might be helpful? Or at least one with out the burn?
