Think it's worthwhile to "repopulate" with probiotics after a colonoscopy?

I know that my GI always says so. After the colonoscopy a yogurt or yogurt drink with probiotics would seem to be a gentle way of getting something back in your stomach and rebuilding the good bacteria.
