I hate to have to admit to it, but I've done that too! It happened the night before my mom and I were going to visit a family friend for a week. My mom used to be in the dental field, so she told me to keep some wax on the tooth where the crown to prevent irritation (those candy wax tubes with liquid in them work great....just rinse out the liquid and then you can mold the wax to fit your tooth until you find your crown). The worst of it was waiting for it come out. I checked each bowel movement for days (thankfully, this was pre-crohn's so it was a bit easier)... i was getting nervous that it got stuck somewhere. Finally on day 5, it came out (gotta love slow motility
). The dentist sterilized it and then glued it back in. It did skeeve me out a bit at first, but after a little bit I forgot and it was better than paying for a new one. My mom and I still laugh about
it.
