Since the surgery I have been feeling more and more like my Crohns is acting up. Its been almost 4 weeks since the surgery and I still feel pretty yucky. I decided to put myself on a quick 10 day burst of Pred to see if that helps. When I was in the hospital this time they did find some inflammation in the left side of my colon. They were saying it could be the Crohns or just from the surgery. But I don't seem to be suffering what I consider surgical problems, so I am hoping that the Pred will help me to get back onto the right track. I normally suffer with constipation and have to take stool softners nightly, but have been having 4-6 softer stools each day and thats without stool softners and having some nausea. So to me at least, that is pointing more to Crohns. Keep your fingers crossed that the Pred gets me feeling better and stronger. Had to extend my disability by two weeks, as I was supposed to go back to work on Aug 5th, but there is no way thats going to happen. Thanks for your continued prayers and well wishes. Hugs to all!
