Well meaning advice!!

When people tell my daughter what to eat, it is always the opposite of the low residue diet, naturally. They look at her as though she has gone mad when she explains: white bread, no fresh fruit or veggies, etc. I guess it does sound a little crazy.

I get asked daily by my family if I'm feeling any better. This is 17 years people. Obviously they are in denial. I also can't stand this one..... well, you look good! What does that mean anyway? I now tell them that my insides do not look good though. And yes people do tell me what food bothers them like if I avoid that food I will be better. I don't get it.

OMG, that is F'n hilarious!

I can relate to the folks who've had peeps tell them the magic cure for Crohn's. My uncle , though he means well, told me I'd be way better if I ate dulse, Lay's chips, and goat's milk. Also to not reduce my sugar because I need the energy. Well I am overweight and things with sugar make me worse (says the girl who just polished off a bag of red licorice).
