Hello~
I am wondering when you all had your first bowel movement after starting moviprep before a colonoscopy.....

I believe for me it was within 15-20 minutes after drinking the first dose (out of the 4 I think within 1 hour?)

One time it took me around 45 minutes, and one time it actually took 3 hours! (The 3 hours time was VERY painful!! And I was even eating just soft foods a few days before the liquid diet.) During the 3 hour wait, I called the GI on-call fellow, and they said the prep should kick in within 4 hours, usually within an hour.

I had movi prep last week. Started to drink it at 7pm, finished at about 8.30pm. Had a couple of bowel movements but it really started at 10pm and ended at 1am. I think we are all different

Just had my first colonoscopy on Tues and it took about 1.5 hours before 'it' actually started. I was still going the next day at 11:30 am before my 12:15 appointment!!!
