Humira

I did have to pay only 50.00 for 2 shots.  I personally was on it for over 6 months with no change in my crohns.  The only thing that really helped me almost over nite was remicade.  The Humira shot burns very badly when you inject.  I got the pre filled syringes not the inject pen then you can control the med and how fast it goes in also I injected it in my thigh which was alot better.

I also went from remicade to humira do you think it didnt work cause of the remicade?? have you read anything on that?  I have had crohns for 32 years I am also 38 but because of my too many to count sugeries I can't have kids.  I have a very large history of fistulas and abcesses that all required surgery at least 30 of them.  I had my colon removed at the age of 18 and spent most of my life in the hospital from the age of 8 till 21.  I had a very big bout of depression and severe anxiety about 3 yrs ago ,my md would only put me on depress meds and had me talk to someone.  I have a wonderful family that is my support system.  My husband of 9 yrs is not very supportive or helpfull he gets upset when I call off of work.  The stress is the worst!!  Don't be like I was though don't be in the house all the time.  I know you probably don't feel well but go out even if it is just to the library or coffee house.  Seclusion is not good for you at all!!
