Crohn's, Age & Pregnancy

Me! I've had all 3 of my kids in my 30's. I had #3 at the age of 36 and we are working on #4. :) I'm just about to turn 38. I've taken all of my meds throughout my pregnancies (asacol, prednisone, prilosec, remicade OR humira) and all 3 of my kiddos have been born healthy, no problems at all. I guess you're asking because you want to have a baby?

I just had my first child in June and I am 37.
I flared during my pregnancy and ended up in the hospital twice due to dehydration. Doctors put me on Entocort and from that point on I was fine. Smooth and enjoyable pregnancy if you exclude the month of February which was when I was flaring.

My babe is 100% healthy....

I did have to go off the Entocort a couple weeks prior to his birth so he would not be born with it in his system but that was the only thing I had to worry about.

It is possible and if it is something you are wanting I would advise going for it!!!!
