financial "assistance" with ENTOCORT EC?

my drug plan does not cover entocort ec next year 2011.  does anyone know if the company or any other funding sources can provide help.  this stuff costs me over $1,000/month!  help!

I couldn't tell if the manufacturer offers an assistance program or not. You could try calling them:
If you would like additional information regarding ENTOCORT® EC or other Prometheus products, please contact Client Services in the United States at
1-888-423-5227, Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 5:30 pm (Pacific Time Zone), excluding holidays.

BTW - I just read that the patent on Entrocort will run out next year, so wew should see generics next year. No help now, but some help perhaps in the future.

Sorry but I am not sure. I will keep my eyes open and if I spot it I will post it. It did not say anything about generics, that was me, but for sure it said patent was out next year

It's been several years since I was on entocort.

I applied to Astra Z. It was a very comprehensive form, not just income but all one's assets and I never heard back from them. I got samples from Dr's office and once from Canada. (canadadrugs.com)
