Who has a temperature during a flare and if so, what is it?

I usually run a 99.5 degree temp when I am flaring or about to.  I normally have a temp which is below normal, fyi.

Mine runs between 99 and 100. Just enough to make you feel like crap! My normal temp is low as well.

I had 106 when i first got cd, it almsot killed me then but since after that first horrific time my temp is alwways 97, evan in flares, evan before 2nd resection, never had a temp but that one time, mind you it lasted for quite a while I thinkd for about a week, I was out of it and on another planet with strong pain med's, so I just don't remember how long the fever lasted

I get fevers when I flare. If it is a mild flare or I am going into a flare it is usually 99 - 99.5, when I am in a bad flare it usually is in the low 100s.

Like some, my normal body temp is low - 97.1 to 98.1

I can remember the first few times I hemorrhaged, my temp was around 99 - 100, so
2 to 3 degrees above normal for me. Since then, all my attacks have been pain
related - either partial/temp obstruction (vomiting so have to go to ER type of stuff),
or continuous upper abdominal pain (so I am now seeing a pain specialist). I haven't
had the big D for a while, just pain/obstruction symptoms, so no fever...

It's interesting that some of us run low normal temps. I had a GI back in the early 80s
who did an informal survey of his patients. All of us craved sugar - I am still capable
of eating bags of candy in a sitting (not everyday obviously!). His theory was that there
was an imbalance in CD guts that caused a sugar craving. Appropos of nothing - lol!

I too run a 99.5-100 during a flare. My temperature has been this way for 5 months now. The only time it changed was when it got to 105. THat when I was hospitalized. My temperature is back to 99.5-100. I am still in a flare.

I used to run a low grade temp... around 99-100 my regular temp usually always runs low too.
From everyone's comments, this apparently is pretty common!

I'm like becatoria, feels like I'm feverish when in pain but not, always 97. evan during night sweats, still 97, I had a heat stroke in august of 09, evan during the heat stroke, still 97, paramedic's were shocked when they read that, they expected me to be feverish.it's probably just me, has nothing to do with cd

I'm seeing a pattern of normal low temps.......hmmm.  Mine is normally around 97 but in a flare it's a low grade like 99.

My doctor in the past has told me to call if it goes above 101. However, there are some medications that we take which can effectively lower your temperature. So a fever might be muted... Someone else might know more about that than I do. I don't think the TNF meds do, but the other immune suppressing meds (mtx, aza, 6mp) do... I *think*... Again, maybe someone else knows more.

Mine temp will also come and go. Sometimes it is like a break it every night, in the AM I will have not temp it will be just under 98 by early evening it will be above 99.

It is 2pm and mine is 98 and my mouth sores are finally healing ... I'm coming out of a flare ... yeah!!!

My temp usually runs 101.5-103 during a serious flare, but when it breaks, I go from freezing my butt off under layers of blankets to feeling like I'm in a sauna!
