Remicade question

My husband started feeling better after the second infusion. At the time, however, he was also on 120mgs of solumedrol - so it could have been the combination of both that knocked him back into better health.

I hope you'll get some relief soon, don't give up yet! I've heard others mention that it took about 4 infusions to see tangible results.

hope it works for you! not to be negative at all but i've had 6 or 7 infusions and i don't see any relief- actually just posted asking about similar experiences.

for me the relief came after 4th, it has helped my small bowel a little, but it really has helped cd in throat and espho. on the 4th got relief within 1 1/2 hrs during infusion, it could swallow somewhat normal, and it got better, my issue is that it didn't last but 5 1/2 weeks for my 3rd, so I asked gi to bump it up from 8weeks to 6 weeks between and he is uping dose to 10mg's. for me tho if I want remission I will have to have resection, I know my cd better than gi, I've had it 40 years, so rem is giving me time to get things in order before I go thru with it, my surgery is invasive, no lap surgery.
