I didn't really think my CD and anxiety were related until I started reading this forum. It makes sense though.
I recently started listening to self-hypnosis MP3s, and affirmations, geared towards GI issues. A couple of the affirmations are about acknowledging and accepting what you feel at the moment. That really clicked for me. So now when I feel panicky, or even mad, I just try to accept that I feel that way, and maybe try to sit with it for a minute, and I do feel calmer. Sometimes just a few deep breaths are good too.
I know it's hard, but do try to be gentle with yourself. It's a lot to deal with!
