Prayers please (Update)

Just had a mammogram last Monday and just got a call from the Radiology department that I need to go back in for further testing on my right breast.

Trying to stay calm and just hoping for the best.  I did have a biopsy on the right breast many years ago for a lump which turned out to just be fibrous tissue.  My hope and prayers are that they are just seeing scar tissue from this biopsy.  But I have had other mammograms since then and nothing ever showed up.

So if you would kindly keep my in your prayers and thoughts, it would be greatly appreciated.  Geesh I swear if its not one thing, its another.  My next appointment for this breast issue is this Thursday.  Hugs!

Thanks Vicky. I swear I think things are going pretty good, and this appears. It seems if its always one thing or another. Really getting tired of all these wierd issues popping up.

I wish you the best of luck and hope everything turns out fine. But you seem to have a positive attitude and are a strong person so I am sure everything will work out for the best for you! I will be sending positive thoughts!

I know what you mean, when things seem to be heading in a "normal" place something else ends up happening, but it only makes us stronger!

I just said a prayer for you!! I know just how you are feeling because I am on constant watch and have to have breast ultrasounds every 6 months thanks to excessive cysts in both breasts. The radiology center calls me the cyst queen. Hopefully you just have a cyst that they may want out rule out by ultrasound. Keep us informed! We will keep praying for you!!

Oh my gosh Gail! I will definitely be praying that this is nothing serious. Endeavor08 is right. You are a very strong person, and you have a very positive attitude towards adversity. Just try to stay calm, and if you need to, take a xanax, and don't let the stress of not knowing get to you. It could be any number of things, so don't let your mind take you to really dark places.

I hope and pray you get good news on Thursday.

Hopefully all goes well, Gail. My Auntie in the past 2 years had a few scares herself. On three separate occasions she found a lump on her breast, but turned out to be nothing more than a cyst on each occasion. Try not to get yourself worked up. I know that's easier said than done.

I am praying for you. I have to go and have a mammogram done on my right breast on friday for a lump the size of a quarter. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers too... Please keep us updated on your health...

Oh, Nanners, it's always unnerving when that happens, isn't it.

Remember, worrying isn't going to change the outcome (though I know that doesn't help - how can anyone not worry...)

Keep us posted. Hope they can tell you what they think is going on right away. The waiting is always the hardest part.
