I'm so pleased for you, Choc. You deserve to look fresh and pretty and stylish after all you've been through.
Australia Day is tomorrow. There are a few community events on locally - a cricket match, and a citizenship ceremony - but I'm not sure if I'll feel like and / or up to going to either of them. I'm planning to make some damper (trad Aus food) and have bought some ham and grapes etc in case I want to turn it into a picnic up at the community cricket match (in the rain at this stage); otherwise, it'll be damper and roast lamb (also fairly trad) with the *real* one-day cricket at home. I suspect it will be the latter, because even though the virus is improving, it's still leaving me dripping and sneezing and tired.
It's the middle of the night and I'm here because I woke up, really upset, and can only guess that I've had a bad dream I can't remember. I thought the internet would clear my head and it has, so I shall probably crawl back to bed shortly.
NCOT, I've been trying to remember who it is who gets into trouble by always buying things on the cheap, and it's not Meldrew; it's Basil Fawlty. Either way, I still think you're stuck in a classic sit com there
I hope you are feeling happier today, Becky.
Ivy.
