same thing as you, although as of lately, the remicaide seems to be helping.

And I believe it comes with perianal disease.

I get that with bile that comes out. I was thinking of bottling it and selling as varnish remover, mind doesn't stink because of so much papaya's that I eat, so nobody would know it was bile. I always had gas as teen, I was a surfer when I was 13-19, but on the way to the beach with buddies I would have to fart and I grab a liter and fart into liter and blow a big flame, man my buddies thought that was the greatest thing since the invention of the wheel. this was pre cd.    now don't think to hard, I kept my briefs on. good times

Artistguy, they call those blue darts where I am from. The only difference is they don't use the liter bottle and light straight at the source through the pants. I am still missing hand on the left side of one hand from a teenage incident gone bad. lol

Heidi, try avoiding the breads if your symptoms are what you are talking about. Try adding some fiber to your diet through natural sources like cooked carrots or apple juice. Some people can't handle it but I have really eliminated most breads from my diet and added ganola and oatmeal to help with my fiber. I elminated all fried foods and most red meat. It really seems to be helping me with my disease. I noticed that you are still going through the diagnosis process and was curious as to what is leading them to believe it is crohn's disease. Have they done a colonoscopy on you yet? It would really help to have one done for both diagnosis and also to find out what is causing the rectal pain you are having. You are also on a lot of medications that can bind you up such as hydrocodone, tramadol, and klonopin. These medications are great medications but sometimes you have to add fiber when you are on them due to constipation. You mentioned that you are still going atleast once a day but that may not be enough for you if you have this disease. Sometimes you are not getting enough stool out of your body and it causes that urgency feeling until it is finally evacuated. Most of us go to the bathroom over 8-10 times a day on a normal day and over 20 on really bad days. There are some though that suffer from constipation and can go days without going and have a ton of bloating and gas pain. It really sounds like you may have a fissure from staining to go or some internal hemmroids.

  There are a few things to do..I  have this on a constant basis.... perianal disease as well as a rectal prolapse makes my butt a real PAIN!  I use wipes instead of tiolet paper so i don;t get too irritated. Also, ask your GI for analpram.... it is used for Hemmie but takes the spasms away.. i call them dry heaves of the butt!  Goodluck.. and BTW.. I am a "Heidi " too!
