Erythema Nodosum and 6-mp

Hello friends! I just started 6-mp 3 weeks ago and I feel like I am in a flare now. I just recently developed the red bumps on my arms and a few on the legs. I have watery D but have finally over come the nauseau. Could this be from the 6-mp or just a flare and ride it out? So confused.....

Also, if my GI thinks it is from the 6-mp will it be the same with Imuran?

26 years old, Currently on Humira and 6-mp

I'd say flare related, but maybe someone else knows something different.

Hi,T-Missouri, I developed erythema nodosum and fever shortly after I started 6mp. My doctor and I both thought it was from the drug. When I stopped the drug, it disappeared. Since I never tried Imuran I dont know if the result would be the same. Hopefully your doctor might know the probability of having the same reaction to Imuran. Hope you get some answers about that. Same thing happened to me on 6-MP. I actually had to switch to Imuran a few months ago and the bumps appear to be gone. Could be coincidence though.

Yup it was the 6-MP, I stopped ASAP on Friday and am feeling like a new woman today. Doctor next week to find out what next option is....grrrrr
