Prometheus Testing

So my prometheus testing came back as "intermediate metabolizer" for imuran. Anyone else fall into that category, if so what is your dose of imuran?

You need to talk to your doctor about this. Dosage isn't just based on metabolism but also on weight and sometimes other factors like pre-existing liver disease, etc.

I am an intermediate metabolizer. My gi prescribed me 75mg imuran/day. I have yet to begin the script. Years ago, I used to take 150 mg/day. I guess they did not do the metabolize test back then otherwise I think they would have made me take 75 instead of 150. Only thing I recall about the days when I took 150 was that I could hardly stay awake - always falling asleep. May or may not have been due to the imuran.
