what is next?

 Hi all, please could you give me some advice,i was diagnosed with cd in Jan2010 i was put on 1000mg of pentasa a day.but it didn't do any good,i was then put on 60mg of prednisolone per day and a calcichew,i was on this for months and felt terrible.but it got rid of the inflammation,i was then tapered off of them ,and was put on to azathioprine i had a bad reaction and was taken off of them.In july i started remicade infusions had 3 and was put on 25mg methotrexate a week with folic acid,still on it now.The trouble is none of this doesn't seem to working,are there different symptoms,because i suffer from severe constipation and terrible stomach cramps.advice would be very welcome. shane.

Shane, welcome to the forum.  There are other biologicals you can try if the Remicade did not help like Humira or Cimzia.  Also, if you have stomach cramps, trying something like Librax or Limbitrol may help.  I have constipation and stomach cramps and the Librax has been a huge help for me with the stomach pains.  Over the years, I've tried others too like Robinul, Pamine Forte, etc., so there are a few options out there, but Librax has definitely worked the best for me.  I'm sure there are others on here who have other advice to give you as well.  Hopefully, we'll have some ideas you can discuss with your doctor that will help.
