I've been on Humira for 3 weeks now. My stools are more formed, not always entirely formed, but more formed. The problem I'm having is it hurts so bad to have a BM. It hurts inside where my anastomosis would be. I'm getting the labor-type pains, sweating, doubled over type stuff. However, I AM passing stool and it's not really diarrhea. It feels like I'm partially obstructed, but I don't think I am because the pain then goes away. I'm more nauseous too. My theory is that the food is sticking around longer in my ileum area and my system isn't used to it. However, what can I do about the severe pain? UGH. I do have a call in the the GI, but I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what you do about it. I feel like I have stricture, but I just had a colonoscopy in January and there was no evidence of a stricture then. At this point, I would like my diarrhea back!
