To all you guys that commented on Humira: I've been gone for a couple of weeks, had to send my computer away to get fixed. I had my first 2 injections on the 15th of March and the 2nd injection (two of them) the nexct day on the 16th. I was really upset crying and everything because I didn;t know how my body was going to react, but it really wasn't that bad. So far I haven't had any bad reactions form this and now I have to gear up myself for another 2 injections on the 31st of this month and then every other week thereafter. I have to go see my GI nexct month on the 4th to go over my bloodwork results more in depth. The nurse did call me and ay that my bloodwork was stable and that my GI doctor did not express any concerens or worries art this time, but will know more next month. I also have pre-existing liver conditions with this darn disease, so this is the only medicine I can be out on. I guess they will monitor me every 3moinths to see how I'm doing on this med, although I don;t want to be on this for a long time!! I've had real bad pains in my stomach for a couple of days, and I'm hoping that is nothing more than what I've been eating plus intermittent (D). Someone suggested that I start keeping a food diary to keep track of what I've been eating and plus my stomach rumbles all of the time. The nurse that gave me the injections said that if you were going to have a reaction, that it would probably happen within 15mins or so after. Hope you are all doing well and Many Thanks to everyone that has given me some helpful advice!! P.S. Becomingundone, if you are out there, I also hope you are doing well too!!--Silvergriz
