Broken blood vessel in eye

Hello everyone---this morning I woke up to a broken blood vessel in my left eye. I have had no known injuries to my eye. I'm wondering if I should be reporting this to the Dr. since I'm on Humira. My eye feels a little irritated, but doesn't really hurt. I see that some people on Humira, Remicade, etc... have had this problem.. Anyone here with any advice?

I do have a call in to my Dr., but feel kind of stupid that I'm calling my GI about my eye.

I have no answers but I wouldn't feel stupid for calling, you have a disease that makes weird things happen and take meds that exacerbate weirdness. I know I have eye issues from the meds I am on. My policy is there are no dumb questions.

I think you ought to let your doctor know. I hope your issue resolves soon.

I would say you should tell your doctor. My dad had a retinal hemorrhage while on a blood thinner... You'd probably know if it were something that risky, but better to be safe than sorry, especially with the eyes. What meds are you on? Do any potentially cause excessive bleeding?
