Cipro stopped my bleeding

Started Cipro for a sinus infection(wanted to be infection free before starting the 6-MP) last Wednesday evening. By Friday morning all bleeding had stopped and have had none since. Tested negative for C-Diff in February. Any ideas about this weird phenomenon?

I just read something yesterday that Cipro and/or Flagyl can put people in remission. Looks like the abx are working good for you. Hugs!

Cipro has always worked for some people with Crohn's. My daughter is not one of them. Cipro sparked a very high fever in her - which I had to battle to keep under 104 degress Fahrenheit.

But you might be one of the lucky ones it works for. If so, maybe no 6mp?

Nothing worked for me to settle my crohn's disease. I started Cipro/flagyl 10 days ago for a fistula. I was going two to three times a day. I finished my cycle yesterday, and I'm not feeling that well today unfortunately. However, it did help me tremendously while I was on it. So that was a pleasant surprise.

Nope,gotta take the 6-MP anyway. Can't put my daughter through another round of surgeries and hospital stays.
