I reread the colonoscopy report. The level of insertion was ileum to cecum. The illeum was "grossly normal." All biopsies taken were normal.
The radiologist who did my small bowel series said he found indications of an "inflammatory disease" in the "last part of the small intestine." Is the last part of the small intestine the same thing as the ileum? IF so, then why would a colonoscopy give different results than the small bowel barium?
What does the doc mean when he said the barium wasn't flowing through that last part of my small intestine properly? Is that an indication of a disease process being present?
When looking at the last part of my small intestine, that section looked sort of wispy and fuzzy, unlike the remainder of my small intestine which was a strong solid block of color. Not sure what this means.
