Ughhh that time again, I switched to a specialist Crohn's doctor since for a year and a half I could get nothing accomplished and now it is time for a colonoscopy and endoscopy. I am kinda scared I hate doing these, never had the one in the mouth. I don't have the procedure until 2:45pm tomorrow but I start the prep today. I am taking a half day of work so I guess I just need to do it. yikes I am going to be so HUNGRY.

O-well hope all turns out GREATTTTTT

(((HUGS))) Hang in there! The prep is the worst part of it. The scope is easy because you'll be asleep. :) Everything will be just fine.

Yup the prep is the worst. I was terrified of the Endoscopy the first time too. It really is a piece of cake since you will be knocked out. I've now had it a bunch of times and the only problem was that one time I had a sore throat for the rest of the day. Hard candy took care of that! Good luck with the prep and hope you get good results!

Good luck w/the prep, I have done about 5 of these and I always cry too. The best advice I have ever gotten about drinking that awful stuff is to drink it over ice with a straw. For some reason it being cold and not tasting it as much has really helped me get it down.

The worst part is the prep. Endoscopies sound worse than what they are... you will be knocked out and if you r not tell them you want to be. I have had so many endo and colon and i am 40 i must have 100 ft hoses going through me..lol... The preps suck.. You think they could make it at least taste good!!!

I will keep you in my prayers today. I hope this is just routine. Wishing you good health and tons of hugs from all of us!!!

Hey there
don't be scared., just let the doc know you are REALLY scared and they will make sure you don't feel a thing!! They will do the edoscopy when you are sedated so you will be fine. You might have some cramping and gas afterwards but thats about it. I have had many and they are fine, don't be scared!!

Don't be afraid, you can do it! The prep is always the worst! You're almost done! To get myself through it, I just imagine what I am going to eat afterwards! I can't wait to have it done then!
