If/when I get my Crohn's diagnosis, my GI said he wants to start me on entrocort. Has anyone here taken it? What is it like in terms of side effects?

You will hear all sorts of experiences here but I did it for about
8 weeks and I had a little extra acne on my face, but otherwise I was perfectly fine. It seemed to help me and now I'm off of it. I'm not taking anything right now.

I am just coming off of entocort 9mg a day. I did not have any side effects that I noticed. I have been on prednisone and had all kinds of side effects. So if I can get things under control with entocort I would choose it in a heartbeat over prednisone! I hope that it will work well for you and you will start feeling better:)

I am on it now - LOVE IT - it gives me my life back with no side effects I am aware of :)
Like Heather I would choose it in a heartbeat!

I loved it too except it is wickedly expensive.

SOOOO much better than Prednisone. Does the same job, without as many side effects. Though it does take a little longer to kick in than Pred. Hugs!
