Anyone here have Crohn's, Hypothyroidism and Hearing Loss?

Hi wtrbtl and welcome to Healingwell. We have some members who have Crohns and hypothyroidism, but haven't heard of anyone having all three. We did have a former mod who suffered some hearing loss but that was due to a antibiotic they put her on for a side effect of Crohns. Hugs!

No but what I thought was hypothyroidism was just chronic fatigue related to the crohn's. Could that be your sitch too? No hearing loss but my eyes go blurry at the same time the other symptoms flare, and I read it's the same autoimmune process inflaming the sclera in my eyes and it's supposedly really bad, like permanent damage bad. Not sure what I'm going to do about it. Only 24 hour fasts consistently relieve my symptoms.

I have Crohn's and hypothyroidism, but no hearing loss.

I have Crohns and Hashimotos but my hearing is great.

Hi wtrbtl.  I have CD, which I'm told is mild; hashimotos, my thyroid is shot; and hearing loss, mostly mid ranges.  My ENT says my eardrums have calcified so hearing aids are likely in my future. 

Autominnume diseases run in my family.......my father had parkinsons, an aunt and several cousins also have hashimotos, and another cousin has lupus.

I never really lumped the hearing problems in with the other things I have going on.

Are thou thinking they are related?

I wish I could say the same.  I have bad hearing loss.  I think I have been chronically dehydrated too long, that dried out my ear canal, so there was a loss of the little hairs that help produce sound waves.  Also many of us with crohn's disease have taken antibiotics in the past, many which are toxic to hearing.  You can look this up and see for yourselves. 

The Specialist told me that it could have been related to the crohn's immune condition but said it was too late to do anything about it?
