It seems that LDN is having very effective results in this study, but whenever I look for personal finding from users here, or other sites, it seems that the reviews are very mixed. 

It would be great if LDN worked considering the relative safety of this drug.

Its does work well for some, but just like the rest of our meds, what works for one, doesn't always work for all. Hugs!

I haven't tried LDN but more than a few here and on the ulcerative colitis forum extol its value. Apparently applying it transdermally seems to work more quickly and effectively than taking it orally. It is not a patented medication so don't hold your breath waiting for conventional medicine to recommend it.

If you read the article carefully, you will note that it does not talk about remission. Instead, it talks about a 70 point reduction, for instance, in CDAI. LDN seems to help the majority of patients, but that doesn't mean it puts them into remission.

I am very keen to try LDN but my specialist is sick himself and I want to wait for him to be well as I think he is more likely to support it than a new specialist who doesn't know me!
