Not a good day

Well my day started at 2 am with an emergency run to the bathroom which I did not make.  Had to throw away my pj's and undies, then clean up the toilet and myself.  Felt sooo nauseous.  Got my meds down, so lets see how it goes.

And to top it off for some reason my vision is REALLY blurry today, and its very difficult to see the computer, even with my glasses on.  We are shorthanded at work, so of course here I am, feeling like utter doo doo sitting at my desk.  Then I get to work and receive the lovely message that I also have to cover the switchboard for 45 minuntes.  You realize that means having to find someone who can relieve me should I need to run to the bathroom.  While I was thinking I would just come in get my pending stuff done and go home early.  Can I cry now??????

I wish people could see what we go thru every single morning, just to get to our jobs.  I am sure if anyone else woke up and had the morning I have had already, they would have called in a longtime ago.  Heavy sigh!!!

Awwww no fun Nanners! I Hope that you dont have another accident like that anytime soon. That is so frustrating I know. and work... UGH! Its a hek of a time sometimes Nanners. Hang in there and I really hope that your day gets easier as it goes on... if it doesnt then hopefully tomorrow is a new better day, if not.... well, poop. Not the literal sense either.. I had blurry vision before but it was while on remicade, not sure what could be going on there for you.... if it aint one thing its another eh... dang.

(((HUGS))) Oh Nannners. I'm sorry. I really hope this day goes by quickly for you and that you get all the help you need (switchboard). Sending up a few prayers for you.

kasbern I think its my cataracts. At least thats my story and I am sticking to it. Not so sure how long I am going to make it to be honest. I feel soooo rough right now.

I am so sorry your having a poopie day ..........Life sucks on the bad days so go ahead and cry your eyes out my friend.  When your at the switchboard and the potty calls - just go and let the phones go to voicemail. 

I know when your feeling this lousy it kicks the anxiety up several notches which does not help........blaaaaaaaaaa.

I am here for you and know I will help in anyway I can.  I see therapist at 1:00 PM so I will ask her what you can do to feel better ?

I have nothing else to say to the therapist - she gave me homework last week - I was to join the senior center.  So now I am a bonafide card carrying member of the senior center.  I am going to learn how to play a game called "Pickle Ball" - yes I did say Pickle Ball.  That is sure to cure what is wrong with me.  Want to join us...............

Hope your day turned around... those are so bad... when you really shouldnt be at work but feel obligated to go... I hope things turn around. I think it would be great if they taught us all how to play pickle ball- doesn't it sound fun? ;)

Gail, I have to agree with Sniper. Our disease is so invisible, that only those really close to us know.

I really hope today is better than yesterday, but I have to say you do seem to be having more of those
kind of days than usual. I'm thinking of you my friend. Hugs!!

Thank you all so much for your support!! I love this forum becuz you can come here and cry and everyone here understands what you are feeling.

I ended up leaving work about 11 am. Pulled my grandson out of school early (becuz I promised him he cud spend the weekend with his Nanners & Papi) and just went home and slept for a few hours. Husband took my grandson out to ride bikes for awhile while I rested.

Not sure what was up with my eyes, but had my hubby go out and buy some dry eye drops to see if that would help and it did a little. I feel much better today though.

Vicky you are right, these bad times are happening more than normal of late. I have an appointment with my GI in about 2 weeks and will discuss with him then. I am still able to function most days, but have been having more poopy days, more pain days and more cramps than normal. But its not everyday, but alot more frequently. And this is not IBS this time, as its happening when I have stayed on my regular diet and seems to come out of nowhere. This bout yesterday, was one of those days that came out of nowhere. Didn't eat anything different, was well rested. Just woke up and felt the need to go and the next thing you know a mess was made. I felt pretty dang bad after that and was trying to not throw my meds back up.

Anywhoo, do feel better this morning. Hopefully things stay that way for the rest of my weekend. Hugs and thanks again all!
