Remicade + 6mp and weight...experience?

So remicade seems to be doing me a whole lot of good very quickly. I go to see my GI in a couple days and he already told me he wants me to start 6mp. I'm on the fence as I really want to finish my loading doses before adding anything else. Still researching and thinking about that.

I lost a ton of weight through this initial flare here, but with remicade doing so much I'm really wanting to get back to working out when I get the drain out. I'm not stressing about the 6mp side effects, everything has them. I am curious that appetite loss is in there. Is anyone on a remicade + 6mp combo and can you share what your weight experience has been with this cocktail? I realize it's highly individualistic, just curious about a baseline.

I was on 6mp and Remicade and I've been putting on weight pretty easily...20lbs since I got sick last year. In my personal experience, the side effects of 6mp weren't worth it. I had a dozen kidney stones in ten months, supposedly caused by it? Remicade alone has worked really well for me, though, and I've been able to get off all of my other meds. Hoping you don't have the reaction that I did! ><
