So I've had crohn's for 8 years, I wad diagnosed when I was 16. I'm 24 now and have been pretty lucky that my last flare was four years ago. I was on remicade that kept me in remission but I went off of it last summer because I had the opportunity to move to France for 7 months. My doctor wasn't very nice about
it, and didn't approve, but it was a great opportunity that will profit my future career so I couldn't not go.
Since it's been four years since the last flare I don't really remember what is normal or not. I've had diarrhea for about
two weeks and about
a week ago there was blood in my stool, and of course I was in great pain. This morning, however, when I got up to go it was more liquid than normal and appeared to be only blood. The last few bm today have been like that. The weird thing is the pain seems to have tapered off some. So I'm very confused why there seems to be a lot more blood but less pain. And is a lot more blood dangerous? It will be three weeks before I can get into to see a doctor
