Just found out that I get to proceed with my cataract surgery next week!!  I thought I was going to have to cancel it because I had to be put on Entocort for my flare up, but just found out its still on.  So happy!!!

My eyesight has gotten so bad and its so hard to see anymore, I am really looking forward to seeing better again.  Yeah!!!  Finally some good news:)

Yay, Yay, Yay!!!! Glad things are finally starting to turn around. I hope that going back to work today didn't set you back. Keeping everything crossed for you.

Had my pre op appt yesterday and I am so glad that its still on. My vision has gone down hill for the past year. I can't wait to see better again. Doc said even if I was on Pred they still would have proceeded, so thats one less worry. Thanks for your support, it is really appreciated. Hugs!

Great news, Nanners! Do you know what kind of lens implants they will insert? One eye distance, one eye near (mono vision)??? Both distant w/glasses for reading? Both near w/glasses for distance? I've had my left eye done. Right eye hasn't needed it.

Hey C2 they are just doing the one for distance although he told me it will also improve my near some. The one to fix it so I no longer needed glasses for reading is considered cosmetic and not covered by my insurance. I'll take it as my vision has suffered alot recently. Hugs!

Aint that just like those blankety blank insurance co. Grrrrrrr COSMETIC !!!! We're talking about your eyes here . Well now I have heard everything . Should I every lose my legs I am sure that they wont pay for prosthetics . Just stick a wheel up my butt and I can scoot along just fine right ? I surly can make out fine with the wheel because legs are so ,,,,,cosmetic.
