Thread missing now but video on hookworms, what happened?

I just watched a very interesting video on hookwork treatment for autoimmune diseases. Very interesting, especially since people in African experience very little IBD diseases. But when I went back to post a few statements towards it, it was gone. Just wondered what happened to it as I found the video to be very intriguing.


Also, wondering if anyone else has experience with this or knows anyone who has tried it.

Okay, I just found it interesting and then couldn't find it. Thanks for getting back to me.

I still would be interested to know if anyone knows anymore about this. I have always wondered why there are not more cases in places like Africa.

Not sure about the hook worm but the University of Iowa did a Clinical trial several years ago using whip worm to treat Crohn's patients. My doctor had a patient that was in the trial and said that she got better and was sad when the trial was over. Apparently whip worm is found in pigs stomachs/intestines and since parasites are "host specific" they don't live for very long in the human. You may be able to find out more if you do a websearch on it. Good luck!

Margie63: hi, I am currently in the process of ordering whipworm for my crohn's colitis. I've tried all the meds that are available except for tysabri and nothing has worked. In fact I've been flaring for 6 years straight.

After a lot of research, I am moving forward with this with a company called autoimmune therapies in the UK. I have to pay out of pocket and go to Canada or the UK to take the medicine. We are just trying to figure out my dosage now. Anyway, if you want more info, you should search for posts from Herbert smith. Please feel free to ping me if you want more information.

The administrator has tools available to track down how posts were deleted. If you wonder how it was deleted or if you question why a thread has been locked then you can always email the administrator. He seems to be fair and open-minded.
