Blood in urine - no UTI - constant bladder pressure

Hey,

Just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this.  I have blood in my urine and constant bladder pressure, but no UTI.  It has been a couple days, and this has been the worse.

That being said I am slightly flairing and bloated... Not sure if this is the crohn's or what?

No, I have not experienced that pleasure yet lol.

I am seeing my doc on Wednesday. Is there any signs that I should look for if it is kidney stones?

could be a stone...blood (visible and not) can be a symptom.
pain or pressure in your back and side then moving toward the front and pelvis area...
can be SEVERE pain or just pressure or moderate pain...i have had the pleasure of all of the above-
i've had about 10 of them...
just drink a lot of fluids- kidney stone or not that can definitely help out...

Hi Karine,

It sounds similar to what I get. My urine is visably discoloured from blood but no UTI, and there is a feeling of pressure in my bladder. When I go to the toilet the pressure turns to pain in my bladder as it comes out. It's very unusual and I've had it for a while now, and I've mentioned it to my GI who doesn't really seem to be concerned. I have no symptoms of Kidney stones.

Son had something very similar (without blood though) Spent the whole of one night up and down going to the loo weeing(also had raging temp) GP ran blood/urine tests, CRP high(179) urine test negative for infections. He put it down to Crohn's flaring and putting pressure on bladder. Gastroeneterologist said it wasn't a flare as that wouldn't cause a high temp(??) and that it was an infection. Who knows!!
