Sunday tlc

rough day today, so curled up on my bed in my room. prety tired but am doing ok. love my furry hot water bottle. Ivy, big hugs and once you've done your garden layout, your welcome to do ours as well! Vixen, so sorry about your friend. my dad had bowel cancer. his was inoperable too. hugs for your dog and its nice to hear your kids are off living their lives although its abit sad too. your going to miss them!

Ivy the gardening sounds lovely. I don't have anywhere to grow one, but I sure wish I could. I would probably not be able to eat much out of my garden, but it still would be a nice distraction.

Choc, sorry to hear you are not feeling well today, hoping rest is all you need and are feeling better soon. Vixen sorry to hear your heart is heavy with an empty nest. I feel your pain, my daughter moved 2000 miles away with our only grandson we have been able to have a relationship with, and our hearts are hurting too. Big hugs!

My tlc's today are light as they have been, I am going to try to walk a little. No worries Ivy, I pace myself and can only go so far and thats it. I am still weak to go very far, but the little bit of exercise and sun has been good for my spirits as well as my health. I am still having rough mornings, so nothing will be done until the afternoon.

It's fun planning isn't it Ivy. Would save a lot of time and effort if we could get it right the first time everytime. I have now lost count on how many times some plants have been moved around the garden and then I will spend many weeks digging out a border and a few years down the line will spend twice as long reinstating it to grass again!!(I'll never learn)
Choc, sorry to hear that you are having a 'blah' day and so sorry to hear that is what your dad had too. I have spent a fair while reading up on it and the prognosis and trying to ascertain what help benefit wise he may be entitled to, I guess a lot of it hinges on what is said on Monday.
Nanners,I was wondering if your daughter had moved yet, I was sort of hoping that they would put it off until you were properly back on your feet. I just hope I can hold it together long enough to get ds moved to Uni cause I don't want to make it any harder for him. Think I will survive taking dd to airport-yes there will be tears but I know she will cope :) Being in a relatively small country it is quite difficult to comprehend your daughter moving 2000 miles away yet still being in the same country! Keep up with the walks, even if you manage a step further each day it is an achievement.
Hello Blacky, I don't recognise your name but I can see that you are an old timer :) I think that it is fair to say that tlc posts mean different things to all of us. It can be used to list what you want to do in a day, or what you have achieved in a day, the ups/downs of the physical/mental impacts of this disease, the list is endless but from it you will get support/encouragement/understanding. So post away :D

Ya, I get iron infusions it is done by IV, nice black stuff. It usually takes about 3 hours for me tho. I know that I should probably accept the fact that I will be iron deficient for the rest of my life, I am only 42. I guess it would be easier, but I hate the feeling of going up a flight of stairs and feeling light headed, and my legs feel like they are going to give out. Even folding a load of laundry is a challenge. I am a go go go person as well as most of you on here, so it is hard to slow down, I have been trying for years.
