Hi I'm a new member. I was DX in 1999 with crohns after suffering for a long time. Finally after the fistulas surface on my stomach and groin and after upper GI's and CT scans they finally figured it out. I've been reading everyones posts and I have found out what I ahve been going through isn't just me like I thought it was. I'm so glad I found you all.

This place has been my salvation :) You can talk to people that don't have Crohn's but, you know they just don't get it, no matter how supportive they are. At least here we can talk poop and no one bats an eyelash at it!!

Welcome aboard! Glad you stopped lurking :) I've met some amazing people on here that I still talk to outside of the forum (when I am feeling well :/) but, always find myself back here when something is going on. I know I can always find some good advice & support from the terrific people here.

I was sick for 6 years before I found this family, I wish I had know about them from the beginning. Would have saved me much grief.

Every step of my illness for the last 5 years has been made alot easier by my family here, more times then actual hospitals.

Never leave home without them :) (Wait that may be a CC ad, either way, still works)
