Nausea in the morning?

Does anyone else get this? It's been happening to me quite often lately and I cannot really eat much when I wake up because I feel almost like I have to vomit. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with crohn's but its worth a try asking.

Yes, for the last week I've had bad nausea every morning for about 3-4 hours along with abdominal cramps and many trips to the bathroom. The nausea is the worst while I'm on the toilet trying to go. I think the only thing keeping myself from throwing up is the desire not to waste the $100 in pills I take every morning!

Same with me...First off there's the nausea, then you have to eat something to take your pills but you don't feel like eating much, then to top it off you throw them up!

i know what you mean. it's usually worse in the morning for me. then it gets even worse when i have to take my deaded prednisone. no matter how small or high of a dose of pred, the taste is so dreaded.

i take pariet in the morning and it does help the nausea/vomiting. have you tried it?

If I move too much in the morning too soon I'm nauseous - and having a hot shower is often too much! I actually have to eat as soon as I'm awake, even if it's just a cracker or two.

This morning I'm feeling a lot less nauseous then yesterday. Yet you never know how tomorrow is going to be.

Sometimes when you have alot of nausea it can be a sign of a stricture too. I know when I had my strictures I had alot of nausea especially in the mornings. Something else to think about. Hugs!
