Well...like Nanners I have followed a modified low residue diet since my resection 20 years ago. But, I have been able to add a lot of things back that others may not. I can not handle anything with high fibre (for example I can eat cereals that are 3g or less of fibre per serving-anything else cramps me up). I can eat chicken and pork and occasionally ground beef. I can not handle steak. I generally do not eat any veggies or fruits
