Is this a Abscess...fistula or blockage? HELP

Hey everyone havent posted in awhile. Everything has been going good for me until recently...about 2 weeks ago I started with terrible stomach cramps. These cramps are weird...its like a big gas bubble pops out around my mid stomach area..brings crazy pain, pressure etcc for like a minute than bubbles out and my stomach gets flat again (kinda) I say kinda becuase I am still pretty bloated all the time. Also when I press on the left side of my stomach it hurts and is very tender while the right side isnt as bad. Is that inflamtion? or a fistula? I notcied I feel a lot more tired ever since this has started and even a little more angry if that makes sense...like with this pain I really have no paitence.

Like I said im 22 years old now (I think I started posting here when I was like 16 lol) and have been doing good until this started. I've already had 2 bowel resctions and this doesnt seem like a FULL bloackage as I still have a bowel movemt like once a day or every other day. I've had an abscess before too that had to get drained but that looked like a huge pimple on my lower stomach...I have no marks now.

I tired to watch my diet since this started and have been trying to eat as bland as possible which is hard becuase my appetiate is still very much there. I am taking Imuran for my crohns right now. Last week I did a prednisone taper and pred usually helps me when im flaring very well but didnt do much this time. I also take wellbutrin and Amoxcillian for other reasons but thought they were also helping with my crohns..until now. In the past I have taken prednisone and pentasa too. I did some research and it looks like these symptoms might be a fistula or a narrow bloackage and it said Cipro? and Flagyl are good meds to take to help clear that up. Has anyone used these with any sucess? Would taking amoxcillan and cirpo be ok? I know they are both antibotics right?

My GI's office is closed on wensdays and of course today is the day its really bothering me. Im going to call tomorrow to see if I can get a appt soon to be looked at. Also want to ask for any meds that might help get me out of this funk. I just started a new job and of course this happens. Working in pain sucks....anyone ever have symptoms like this or been on those meds...advice please....

Ehh noories thx for the quick responce. I know I know im probbaly going to need those terrible tests done. Colonoscpy ( have they found a way to elimate the prep yet?) SBFT (bariummm- yuckkk) I had both those about 2 years ago...wasnt pleasent. Dont want to trun this thread into that though.

Also intersting about the red meat. I dont eat it but I do eat a lot of meat. AND like you said and I forgot to mention my gas has been horrible lately...something has to be up becuase it smells so bad and not healthy..def not how it always smells.

so get off meat for a week and see if it makes any difference while you wait for you Dr.

as for testing, ha! i havent had barium in ages (the last one i tried was "Strawberry milkshake" flavor and i puked it all out) but i do a colonoscopy every year. yup, always a good time! i only do 1 day prep for it though so its not sooooo bad (my sister lives in ireland and its a 3 day prep!).

but just suck it up and do it. atleast you dont have to be all bloated and farty :P

I am currently going through a very bad flare and my doctor put me on 1000mg a day of flagyl and a 1000mg a day of Cipro. as well as VSL3 and pain Medicine every 4 hours. I also am doing a clear liquid diet and things are looking a little bit better. But I am not a doctor, and don't claim to be. If you can not get a hold of your doctor, can you go to the er and get checked out?
