ok so my feet, ankles, legs are so rediculously swollen!  i've had this happen before, but i think this is the worst they've ever been...it's insane!  any tips? now i'm laying with my feel elevated.  my prednisone is only 15 mg.  not sure why this is happening right now but it's freaking me out.  they are retaining so much water when i flex my feet/ankles i can feel it.  help!

if it stays that way or keeps happening, make sure to check with your doc - it is a sign of many different things! Diuretics help with the swelling (you would need a prescription) - but a natural diuretic is strong green tea...

green tea? i drink about 10 cups a day...yikes- how bad would it be without it? i'm going to make another cup right now.

I have no idea except to watch the salt ( obv).

I agree if its extreme you need to rattle doc's chain.. And im not one to say that too often.

I am not sure why it happens sometimes and why not. It happens to me sometimes while on pred. Never really any other time. Just a few weeks ago mine were bad, if I spent any amount of significant time on my feet they would swell like how you are describing. I would have to lay down with my feet elevated for awhile. Not sure what causes it to come and go, a few days after this I had to pee a ton and then no more swelling.

One good natural diuretic is 100% Pineapple juice. Not sure if you tolerate juice or not. But it always helped me.

i went to the doc today and she gave me a diuretic for 7 days...my legs are huge! it feels so weird too- like my skin is stretching and it's all tight- very uncomfortable! i hope these pills work fast.
