Hello!

Article:

Inflammatory bowel disease preventive and curative agent containing zinc L-carnosine salt as active ingredient

Has anyone ever heard of this? It looks to be old patent from 1993, expired on jul. 2011 on zinc L-carnosine as potent antiinflamatory, immunomodulator substance - part of other drugs and potential for preventing and treating IBD.

It looks like this compound never got further on research or what? Patent is form 1993.

What do you think?

As L-carnosine is immunomodulator itself. Can calm immune or boost it also. Have googled.

And a reading about immune system. Interesting article if some one will read.

It describes system and its functions and how it turns to get overreactive and then does not stop.
