NY Veggie,
Thank you for taking your time to write out your sincere thoughts.
I, now, understand what you were trying to convey. My reply might become very long and tedious but I really hope that you take your time reading it.
You are undoubtedly right about
ingesting metals. But the Colloidal Silver that I make at home is at VERY low parts per million (3-5) and it is mostly ionic, therefore very small in particle size and hardly affects my gut bacteria.
Also, I don't know if you are familiar with EPA, but their studies(for Angyria and toxicity) have stated that I'd have to take more than a couple of gallons a day to have toxicity affects on me at such low PPM.
EPA is very strict and you know, even the hospitals in California are using Silver Ions through the air ducts to kill all microbes.

"Chief Executive Officer at City of Hope National Medical Center, says, "The room which we are currently standing is as free of germs as medically possible in a hospital." This is possible because the ducts delivering air to patients' rooms are
coated with a silver-based anti-microbial compound called AgION. It can kill bacteria, viruses and fungus. Jeffrey Trogolo, Chief Technology Officer at AgION Technologies, Inc."
"It's less toxic than table salt and less irritating than talcum powder. Ultimately we hope this will result in less infections and actually better outcomes for the patients." The silver compound can also kill germs in your kitchen, on shopping cart handles, even in your sneakers. It's already used in a number of products including athletic footwear, door hardware, pens and business supplies."
I do take a high quality probiotics once a day just in case.
about
the metal chelation, many unexperienced doctors administer DMPS IV or EDTA to chelate their patients from heavy metal toxicity.
But this usually results in adverse events, sometimes the kidneys of the patients are not able to handle the amount of metals being excreted out and as a result, their kidneys or liver shuts down.
DMSA is the safest chelation therapy, by far, and passes through brain-barrier, according to the study when it was administered orally in mice, and it does take several months or even more than a year to fully benefit from the chelation.
In addition to this, your doctor makes a lot more money by administering you with DMPS than giving you the prescript
ion for DMSA.
You must remineralize between each courses because apparently, chelating also excretes good minerals along as well.
Ofc, I'm not a medical doctor but want to give you a suggestion. Have you tried this high quality Iodine supplement called, "Iodoral"?
My aunt recommended me this and I started taking this a week ago and I already notice that my hands/feet are warmer. I have most of the symptoms of Hypothyroidism but my thyroid always comes out normal in blood test.
She used to take Synthroid too but now she's off and only taking maintenance dosage of Iodoral. I researched into this product and a lot of people have benefited from it. Virtually, not many experience the side effects if they start low.
And iodine also detoxes body from harmful chemicals such as bromine, chlorine, mercury, etc from your body by excretion of the kidneys naturally.
And I have a nebulizer for colloidal silver and it works very well for killing any mycoplasma or bacteria infection for your lungs.
I'm so glad that your Crohn's is in control. I only want to help people out while not sounding pedantic in an ignorant way lol or saying that this is the ONLY way to go.
I am still growing and maturing. I have so much learn from this world. I might be a fool. But I'm glad that I'm taking some chances without having regrets.
As long as my Crohn's is in control, the protocols that I've implemented won't affect any of my hormones or glands because I won't be on any Prednisone or immuno suppressants.
Heavy metals will affect my thyroid/adrenals if they are left unchelated.
