I'm on ssdi from cd, I followed tsitodawg's advice, we corrosponded alot. main thing is your dr's are on board with your decision, I hired binder and binder, when they know a lawyer is attached, they know you're in it for the long haul. I was rubber stamped first time, they told me because I can walk and move my arms freely, and evan tho they realize I have pain and discomfort, they felt I could still work. They approved me after I showed this denial to my gi, he wrote a narrative report, and all he did was explain what 1 week was like for me. he basically said I have 1 or 2 decent days sprinkled in with the rest of the week. I was approved total time 5 months. I'm 60, the next time i have to go to there dr is Nov. of 2017. I think I might be 67. write everything down, who you talk to, I.D. # and time of day. and make copies of all your answers to Q's on the forms they send you, they will send the same forms, again and they will look for same answers or they will look for different answers, the only time your answers should change, if your condition changes(worsens). good luck
