OMG, I think I may have the flu???

Ok, so I have been having a good week, but the last couple days, headache, gut ache, chills?? No diarrhea tho. Today my lips are all dry, I have been drinking lots of water, hmm, I just don't know. Good thing it is the weekend, I can just relax, and that is what I shall do. What an icky feeling tho. Mentally I am still fine, no worries there.

I can remember many,many years ago asking my Dr what the difference was between a cold and flu.

His response-if you have a cold and win the lottery you will be jumping for joy, if you win the lottery and you have flu you will not care less that you have won :D

Last christmas 3 of us went down with flu and I now know what he means, not that we won the lottery but  christmas was a non event.

Aw, sorry to hear Vicky, hope it does not last long. I have a crazy headache, nausea, chills, and just a general feeling of "ick". I am taking it easy, and knitting on the couch with my kitten beside me, going to have a hot bath soon.

One of my doctors once told me that you when you have the flu you pretty much feel like you were hit by a bus. lol.. And funny as that is, I think he was dead on! I can handle a cold any day, but one day with a flu and I turn into a big, ol' baby. haha...
