Remicade and Jaw Pain?

So, I had my first dose of remicade on Tuesday, Nov 15. Tonight, a little while after Thanksgiving dinner, I started getting a very stiff pain in my jaw that got slowly worse throughout the night. I can now barely open my mouth and forget about chewing anything. I went online and managed to scare the crap out of myself...we all know how this can happen.

I'm going to see how I am in the morning, but until then...has anyone else had very bad jaw pain with remicade? Is it something I should be worried about?

Actually, I went in on Tuesday for my next treatment. After about ten minutes of infusions, My throat began tightening up and I could barely breathe. The nurse stopped the infusion and it began to get better, but then I started puking. When my doc came in I then told him about the jaw pain. He told me there are two types of reactions from remicade, immediate and delayed, and I had experienced both of them. So anyway, I'm not taking remicade anymore. I'm starting Prednisone today because my symptoms have gotten much worse, and then I will be weening off of it when I start I new medication (can't remember the name) shortly.

And all of this during the end of the semester...one week and then finals. I can do this (I think!).

Yep, I was premedicated with Benedryl, Tylenol, and steroids :(
