50g best quality GF dark chocolate
100g butter
200g caster sugar
2 eggs lightly whisked
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
75g ground almonds
1/2 teaspoon GF free baking powder
pinch salt
110g chopped walnuts
Line 20cm square baking tin with baking paper and preheat pven to 180 celcius/350 farenheight/gas mark4.
Cream butter and sugar until pale, soft and light, then beat in lightly whisked eggs, vanilla and melted chocolate.
Stir in almounds, baking powder, salt and chopped nuts.
Spread into prepared tin and bake 30 - 35 minutes.
Leave to cool then cut into 5cm squares.
