There's an article in the issue I just got in the mail about
a girl dealing with having CD...haven't read it yet but I plan to...just curious if anyone else got that edition as well.

The article in the GLOW magazine is about
this girl suffering with CD and how she has been managing it....she's doing yoga (as it aids with meditation...really good for the mind and coping under stress) as well as her diet alterations which are basically giving up all processed foods and eating everything made from scratch, she also mentions a few things like adding/experimenting with Chia seeds (probably not the Chia Pet seeds LOL< but who knows!!), Irish moss and tumeric which are all healing to the digestive tract and restore immunity. Every morning she drinks a juice made with cucumber, celery, kale, spinach, lemon, ginger and apple, all of which are excellent for our overall health as well.
Granted, I beleive she said she was sick with CD for 3 yrs, so there's still a very good chance she basically reached remission from doing the above mentioned, and of course we all know that it's very likely at some point she will flare again cuz that's the crappy nature of this disease afterall, but hopefully she'll at least have a very long remission and the changes she's made sound like a good improvement for her overall health anyway.

Thanks for letting us know. I looked online, but couldn't find the article. I'll take a peek next time I'm at Shoppers, my home away from home. lol.

LOL Roni, I love shopping there too! Only crappy thing is some of the
locations refuse the public to use their toilets (EEEEK, thank goodness for my "potty van" LOL)
It's in the Holiday Glam edition and starts on page 102..."How I conquered Crohns" Keeping fingrs crossed that she "conqueres" it for a very long time!

Thanks.
And yeah, they tried that on me once. Next time tell 'em what the consequences will be: a big mess on their pretty shiny floor. lol. I've had to insist such stores walk me to the employee br and wait outside the door.
