Hey Sniper,
I saw you post on another thread....I hope you are doing ok. This story made me think of you. My GI has hired a new receptionist who does not seem to have much of a brain. I've been struggling with her on the phone, but my visit this week was the first time I met her in person. So I come to the office, and go to use the restroom before checking in...(you know how that is:) and there's no toilet paper or paper towels. So I decide to get in line and the lady in front of me tells the receptionist about the toilet paper outage. So I say, "Yes, I was just about to say the same thing." The receptionist replies, " I stopped putting it in there, because I think the patients are stealing the toilet paper." To which I reply, "You're kidding, right?" and she says, "I put a new roll in, and after only about 5-7 patients, the toilet paper is completely gone...and then the paper towels go missing!" So I say, "Do you understand that you are working in a gastroenterologist's office?" and she replies, "What does that have to do with anything?" and I say, quite loudly so the whole waiting room hears it, "Explosive diarrhea!" All of the patients in the waiting room started laughing and she finally gave in and gave me a roll!
I would have shared the story with my Doc, but I had so many important things to discuss, and I didn't want to get sidetracked. While I was waiting, I kept thinking, "What would Sniper have said?" At least it made me laugh...
