Anyone play around with Cimzia dosage

I've been on Cimzia since May '09 and it took until Oct for good results.  Problem is the pain in my leg muscles, numbness and tingling in feet and "electrical" like misfiring in feet and hands.  My dr. says to go off Cimzia and I suggected why not try one shot instead of two (I'll still have the extra one should Crohn's start to flare) and see if the side effects subside.  Dr. said it was worth a try.  Is there any reason we're not aware of that this would be a stupid idea? 

i've been thinking about doing the same thing because of side-effects. i have infections in my ear piercings that wont heal - for like 3 months at least, also have issues with bartholan gland cyst/abcess that keeps coming and going - won't completely heal. haven't discussed with my md yet - shes on a long holiday vacation. i had surgery in march that removed all crohns lesions that i had - so i have no sign of disease right now - and i know it could come back at any time - but these infections are super annoying.
how has the half dose worked for you?

i recieve my cimzia every two weeks. my wife injects me. it helps with the 3 week flare up. i have been on cimzia since it was trialed, 3.5 years now. remicade, humira, 6mp, prednisone, flagyl and the list goes on and on, none of them put my disease into remision like cimzia. every medication has its side efects and issues but injecting cimzia every other week, and 4000mg of pentasa, tramadol, and omperozole i am functioning a whole lot better. i still have issues with my joints, all shoulders, knees, wrists, fingers and especially my lower back. three major surgerys, all fusions on lower spine. athritis through out my body. if any one knows a way to keep the joint and back pain at bay, let me know. since 2004 i have been struggling to keep my intestines until cimzia..thank you scientists..i know the day may come where they tell me i have cancer but im not going to worry about it until than, i still wouldnt have change a thing. live life to its fullest until i cant any more.
