Hey..totally new to all of this. Im 24 and was diagnosed about 6 months ago after being in the hospital a couple times and some really fun tests. I've kind of Been in denial about it and tweaking it like it isn't a big deal, but it is. My insurance has run out and the pain is pretty bad. Now my entire body hurts and my joints all crack when i move and I'm exhausted. Any suggestions or words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.

Hi & welcome!

I was in about the same position as you are in now when I was 21. All you can do is take it one day at a time. have you looked into the Patient Assistance programs that the various drug companies offer?

That's a lot of information I'm definitelygoing to continue researching.i haven't even thought to check the library. I appreciate that you took the time to postall of this information it's been really helpful. It's definitely time to make a change in something I'm tired of feeling this bad and its obviously not goingto get better on its own. Thanks again!

Dealing with CD can be overwhelming at ti,es especially during the beginning stages of learning to cope and control the disease. But the sooner you do your research and take the necessary steps towards controlling CD the sooner you will feel empowered and strong enough to take on the world. Good luck, stay strong and find that determination to control CD because it doesn't have to control you.
