Been flaring in South Korea for about 8 weeks. Drop from 170 to 155. The military hospital does not have a GI Dr. But the gi DR in korea don;t spend much time with you. I am now having fevers all week and I am not sure where they coming from. I do have a history of CDiff infections and have been on tysabri and humira

Should I try to get back to the states or deal with it here

What are your other symptoms? Could this be an infection on top of the flare?

You'll probably need to have some blood work done and maybe go on antibiotics.

Can the military hospital contact your or another GI in the states?

well I just got back from the ER and after a CT of my intestines. it came back saying I had multipe lymph nodes inflame due to the crohns. My blood work was not bad but I guess I am so inflame I need IV steriods and antibotics. I withdraw myself from the ER agaist Medical advice. The results were Numerous Mildy enlarged mesenteric lymph nodes could be due to chronic inflammation or lymphoma I doubt it cancer since my blood work is not bad

I am in seoul Korea I had to make plans for my dogs to go somewhere. I plan on going back to the Hospital in the morning to get admitted. I don;t plan on sitting on this

Oh, it's always hard when you have animals at home who are relying on you, isn't it? I have the same problem.

I'm glad you'll be able to go back tomorrow. Sounds as if you have somewhere safe for the dogs to stay, too, which is good. (How many dogs? What sexes?)

They going into a military kennel on base I have 2 standards poodles both female my baby's

Well I been admitted to a hospital in Seoul Korea and they basically giving steroids and antibiotics for the next 5 days and no food

Gee Richard, So sorry to hear of your problems.

So I am still in the hospital. Looks like I be going though the weekend with just IV nutrients. they going to run a small bowel series on tuesday. I have a bad feeling they going to see a stricture. I just don;t want surgery here I rather go back to the states. Hey Crohnie Nice to meet you if u want to chat online somehow let me know

Yuck. I hate that feeling of "what they're going to find.". Have you had a lot of CD problems outside the States? I agree that having surgery in a place you are familiar with is much less stressful than in a foreign land. Let's hope it's something they can "fix" with meds and/or bowel rest.

Which hospital are you at?

Samsung Hospital. I been dealing with crohns for 11 years. I have been on tysabri remicade humria 6mp pentas 5 surgies and 30 inches of small bowel remove
